How the deposit flows
When a customer accepts your quote, they pay a 25% deposit via Stripe. When the deposit hits your connected Stripe account depends on how soon the event is:
- Event more than 30 days away — deposit transfers 30 days after booking (minus our 7.5%). No waiting until the event, even for jobs booked years out.
- Event within 30 days — after the event, you click Mark done, the customer confirms it went well, and the deposit lands in your Stripe account (minus our 7.5%) — usually next day.
The remaining 75% is paid directly between you and the customer on whatever terms you agree.
