Inverness is a working market for hair & makeup artists — Highland-castle and Loch Ness weddings with destination-grade scenery. Briefs come in for Kingsmills Hotel, Aldourie Castle and Bunchrew House and plenty of private and corporate spaces around the Scottish Highlands.
Local jobs generally pay £250–£700 for bridal hair and makeup. Bookt takes 7.5% only when a booking confirms — months without work cost you nothing.
Every lead includes the date, venue and budget before you commit to quoting. Inverness weekends book out early in the year — pros with finished profiles catch that first wave.

Create your free profile →No. Creating your profile and listing in Inverness is completely free. There's no monthly subscription, no listing fee and no pay-to-rank. You only pay a 7.5% commission when a customer confirms a booking with you.
Customers in and around Inverness submit quote requests on Bookt with their date, location and brief. We match the request to hair & makeup artists who cover that area and you can reply with a personalised quote. You control your pricing, availability and what you say yes to.
Every hair and makeup artist sets their own rates — Bookt doesn't cap or cut your price. We take 7.5% only when a booking completes. So if you quote £1,500 and the customer books, Bookt's fee is £112.50 and you keep £1,387.50. No subscription means it costs you nothing in months where you don't book.
No — Bookt matches by your travel radius, not your postcode. Any hair and makeup artist who covers Inverness as part of their service area can apply for jobs here, whether you're based in the city itself or commuting in for events.
The customer pays a 25% deposit when they book, held in Stripe. If the event is more than 30 days away, the deposit transfers to your payout account 30 days after booking (less our 7.5%). If the event is sooner, the deposit transfers after you mark the job done and the customer confirms — usually next day. The remaining 75% is paid directly between you and the customer on whatever terms you agree.
