Hire a photographer in East Lothian

Pricing depends on your date, venue and package — around East Lothian the realistic bracket is £1,200–£3,500 for a full wedding day. Rather than guessing, request free quotes: matching photographers reply with real figures for your exact brief.

For weddings we recommend booking 6–12 months ahead. For portraits and events, 2–4 weeks is usually enough. If your East Lothian date is flexible, mid-week and off-season dates open up far more availability (and often better prices).

Yes. Every photographer listed on Bookt is reviewed before publishing — we check their portfolio, real client reviews and insurance. Verified pros carry a ✓ Verified badge on their listing.

You pay a deposit when you book through Bookt, held securely until the job is done. The balance is released to the photographer after the event. If plans change, our cancellation policy is published on each listing — no chasing the pro for a refund.

Most photographers listed in East Lothian also cover surrounding towns and travel across the UK for bigger bookings. Add your venue address to your quote request and we'll filter to pros who cover it.
